Table Tennis Club based in New Malden, serving Surrey, London & Middlesex areas.  We are an ETTA Premier Excellence level Table Tennis Club with Sport England Clubmark accreditation, we open 5 evenings per week for practice and offer some of the best club facilities in Surrey.

Adult & Junior Table Tennis Coaching is available.  Adult Group Coaching is available when there is demand, this is open to members & non-members & all standards are welcome, see our Coaching page for further info.

Graham Spicer enter club teams in the following Table Tennis Leagues: British Veterans, National Veterans, Thames Valley, & Sutton & District.

We usually have a 4 table configuration on Match evenings, but this can be increased to 5 or 6 Tables for "Club night" which is on Friday evenings.  During Match evenings, a minimum of 2 tables are usually available for practice.

Graham Spicer have changing rooms with showers and basic refreshment facilities.

Guests
Guests are welcome to try out our facilities, but only on Fridays after 19.30 hrs, the only exception to this is that existing members can invite guests at any time. Guests are expected to be "club standard" (i.e. not complete beginners), they must provide their own equipment and be appropriately dressed in non-white sports clothing and non-marking trainers.  Therefore, no playing in Denims, Shoes, casual trousers, Board shorts etc.

Health & Safety
Please could all Members & visitors make sure they sign the Fire Safety book on entering & leaving the club premises, as this is now a Health & Safety requirement.

Veterans British League (VBL):
Hereford Leisure Park, Hereford 28 & 29 Jan 2011
Our team of Tom Adams, Derek Holman, John Fannin, Geoff Grange & Steve Giles, finished 6th out of 6 in Division 2B, they will be relegated to Division 1 of the National Veterans League (see below).

Veterans National League (VNL):
Medway Park, Kent 28 & 29 Jan 2011
Our team of Patrick Caunt, Steve Duggan and R. Parke finished 4th out of 5 in Division 2A, but managed to avoid relegation (out of the VNL) as they are 1 team short in their Division.

Ashford New Year Veterans tournament
Ling Wang
Ling Wang is the Ladies open Champion, she convincingly beat the number 2 seed in 3 straight sets to win the title.  Derek Holman was the band B winner in the mens open.

Veterans Eastern Masters Tournament
Our Chairman Tom Adams won the over 70's singles event and John Fannin with (Keith Powell) won the over 70's doubles event.

John Mowat who devoted his life to the Graham Spicer Table Tennis Club and the Institute has died aged 87.

Marcus Giles selected for Surrey u18 1st team
Marcus has been selected to represent Surrey Junior (U18) 1st team in County Championships Division 1 on Saturday 12th November in Southampton.  Surrey play against Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex 2nd team on 12th November.

Marcus Giles (age 12) is the new Surrey Junior under 18s Champion. For a full report, see the ETTA Website. He is also the national under 13s Champion & ranked no. 1 for under 14s and no. 3 under 15s.
